Mission Statement

To nurture a dynamic, thriving community of lifelong learning at Grace Lutheran Church. We offer opportunities for individuals to deepen their spiritual understanding through scriptural study, contemplation and self-reflection, thoughtful inquiry, and open discussion within the context of a caring and respectful faith community.

Responsibilities

The Adult Education Committee is responsible for the on-going Adult Forum, as well as study
groups and special educational speaker events.

Yearly Events

  • Adult Forum during the program year – Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
  • On-going study groups
  • Professor in the Parish speaker events twice a year

The “Sunday by Sunday” Book Group is also now on Summer Schedule and meets at 11:00 a.m. in the Parlor, immediately following the Contemporary Service. All are welcome to attend.

ADULT EDUCATION HOUR—This fall, during the Education Hour, a local nonprofit organization will educate us about the population they serve. We are looking for table facilitators. No preparation is required. Just come, meet and greet, and help keep the conversation going.
